We are looking for an outbound travel consultant who will help us create and organize trips for our clients. You will be required to interact with our clients and guide them toward picking the best travel itinerary to suit all their requirements. The successful candidate will have experience in outbound travel and has traveled extensively around the globe.

Responsibilities

• Design, craft, and curate travel itineraries with error-free price quotes
• Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
• Provide end-to-end service while organizing a trip from booking the tickets, reserving the hotels, and creating the itinerary.
• Handle day-to-day operations
• Create and update electronic records of clients
• Stay up to date on domestic and international travel trends.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as an outbound travel consultant
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Office
• Exemplary sales skills and a customer-oriented approach
• Well-versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual, etc)
• Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
• Demonstrable ability to handle crises
• Excellent attention to detail
• Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or a relevant field
• Knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems)
• Candidates with personal travel experience in Greece will be preferred
• Knowledge of the Cosmos ERP application is a plus
