The Role
As Pastry A, you are responsible for managing a specific section of the pastry shop, overseeing production execution to ensure it meets departmental standards. Your focus remains on maintaining high quality, consistency, and impeccable presentation across all products. Additionally, you provide guidance and support to junior team members while collaborating closely with the Executive/Head Pastry Chef to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the pastry and bakery sections.
• Support the Executive Pastry Chef in menu development and recipe creation.
• Ensure high standards of presentation, quality, and consistency.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and cost control within your section.
• Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Pastry A in a 5* hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
• Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques, desserts, breads, and chocolat.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Creativity, precision, and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Team spirit, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Very good command of English; knowledge of Greek will be considered an asset.
