The Pizzaiolo is responsible for preparing and baking high-quality pizzas in accordance with the hotel’s standards. This role ensures consistency in taste, presentation, and food safety while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to standardized recipes.
- Assemble and cook pizzas using wood-fired, gas, or electric ovens.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with hotel and food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of pizza ingredients and report shortages.
- Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Follow proper food storage and labeling procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a pizzaiolo or similar role in a hotel or restaurant.
- Knowledge of traditional and modern pizza-making techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
