The Operations Manager oversees daily activities on the property handling the front desk operations, reservations and concierge services.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee the day to day operation of the summer residences in cooperation with the rest of the staff.
• Creates a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Is available to answer any questions, or resolve any problems that the guests may have, always aiming to do whatever he/she reasonably can to ensure that guests have the best possible holiday. To enable this, is knowledgeable about the area, its facilities and attractions.
• Handles complaints and oversees service recovery procedures
• Respond to all incoming requests (e-mail, phone etc.) in a professional way.
• Closely following up on all reservations-related inquiries within a 24-hour response time.
• Assisting guests with any reservation issues effectively and professionally.
• Create and maintain reservation records within the Hotel’s PMS.
• Helping in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment.
• Ensures full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and standards.

Prerequisites:

The ideal candidate is a highly intelligent hotel professional with outstanding, management skills and extensive hands-on experience. Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

Previous Experience & skills:

• At least 3 years experience in hotel environment as a Villa Manager.
• Integrity, reliability and accurate reporting
• Strong people management experience
• Knowledge of Hotel Computer Systems and previous experience with PMS systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective team-building skills, the ability to influence and lead people and establishing a motivational work environment
• Languages: Greek & English and any other language is considered as an advantage
