About the Role
The Pizzaiolo is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality pizzas, combining authentic technique with premium ingredients and consistency. This role requires craftsmanship, speed, and precision within a lively, upscale beach restaurant setting.
Main Responsibilities
Prepare and execute pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes.
Manage pizza station during service, ensuring speed and consistency.
Operate pizza ovens (wood-fired, gas, or electric depending on concept).
Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
Ensure proper storage and handling of dough and ingredients.
Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth service flow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station.
Follow all hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo in a restaurant or beach club environment.
Strong knowledge of dough explaining, fermentation, and baking techniques.
Ability to work under pressure in high-volume service.
Passion for quality ingredients and authentic execution.
Team player with a professional and positive attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and seasonal schedules.
