Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Food & Beverage Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Assistant Bar Manager assists the Bar Manager in developing and implementing beverage menus and bar philosophy in line with Mandarin Oriental standards. The Assistant Bar Manager reports to the Bar Manager.
As Assistant Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide knowledgeable, friendly, and professional bar service, ensuring high guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and serve beverages, while maintaining full knowledge of menus, promotions, recipes, and garnishes.
- Oversee wine and beverage inventory, stock control and billing accuracy, while ensuring adherence to Mandarin Oriental standards. Ensure cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and proper presentation of Front and Back of House bar areas at all times.
- Promote respectful, generous service and effective communication within the F&B team through regular briefings and meetings.
- Maintain close collaboration with the Culinary team to ensure smooth operations and a harmonious working environment.
As Assistant Bar Manager, we expect from you:
- Valid EU Passport or Hellenic Residence Permit.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English.
