Job requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Head Waiter or senior service staff in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certificate in hospitality or a related field may be a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of food, wine, and modern service techniques.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Capability to handle customer concerns and complaints diplomatically and find solutions.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to enhance the dining experience for guests.
Job responsibilities
  • Supervise the service team to ensure smooth and elegant daily operations.
  • Welcome guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus.
  • Take orders attentively, answer questions, and record them accurately.
  • Describe daily specials, promotions, and menu highlights.
  • Offer wine and drink recommendations, pour and serve beverages.
  • Respond to guest requests and accommodate special dietary or other requirements.
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and discretion.
  • Serve food and beverages on time, ensuring the set quality standards.
  • Uphold the visual presentation and professional standards of the dining area at all times.
  • Clear tables, reset for next guests, and maintain dining area cleanliness.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Ensure clear communication between service and kitchen teams for timely and accurate service.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily reporting, inventory checks, and other duties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by restaurant leadership.
