Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Manage and supervise waitstaff, conduct pre-service briefings, and ensure staff training is up to date
• Oversee reservation management and seating arrangements, ensuring maximum occupancy and a pleasant atmosphere
• Respond to guest inquiries, handle complaints, and ensure an excellent dining experience from arrival to departure
• Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, and expenses, and comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maitre or in a similar role within a 5 star Hotel
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, wine pairings, and service etiquettes
• Proficiency in reservation and point-of-sale systems
• Ability to remain calm and assertive in a fast-paced environment
