As a Restaurant Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere, and providing exceptional customer service in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Warm Welcome: Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive.
  2. Seating Arrangement: Efficiently manage the seating arrangement to optimize table turnover and accommodate guest preferences, such as outdoor or indoor seating.
  3. Reservation Management: Confirm and manage restaurant reservations, taking into account the availability of tables and guest requests.
  4. Knowledgeable Assistance: Provide guests with information about the restaurant's menu, specials, and any promotions, as well as answering general questions about the hotel and local area.
  5. Guest Relations: Attend to guest needs and special requests, ensuring their dining experience is exceptional and memorable.
  6. Cleanliness and Presentation: Ensure that the restaurant entrance and waiting area are clean, organized, and well-maintained, creating an attractive and welcoming ambiance.
  7. Communication: Collaborate with the restaurant staff, servers, and kitchen team to manage guest flow and provide them with a smooth dining experience.
  8. Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints and issues professionally, addressing them promptly and in a manner that reflects the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction.
  9. Multitasking: Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as managing reservations, walk-in guests, and answering phone calls, all while maintaining a friendly and attentive presence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, with English being essential.
  • Neat and professional appearance.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • An understanding of customer service principles and a dedication to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant service and dining etiquette.
