As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing the inventory and storage of goods within Conrad Athens The Ilisian. Your role is key to ensuring that all materials, supplies, and equipment are accounted for and available to support the hotel's operational needs. With your organizational skills and attention to detail, you will help maintain high standards of efficiency and service quality throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store all incoming inventory, ensuring proper handling and storage according to safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stock counts and order quantities.
  • Coordinate with various departments to assess their supply needs and assist in the distribution of materials and products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and alert the Purchasing Manager regarding low stock or supply shortages.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with year-end stock takes to verify on-hand quantities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the storeroom and adjacent areas, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of supply orders and contribute ideas for inventory management improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a storekeeper or in a similar inventory control role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good physical stamina to lift and move heavy items as needed.
  • Strong communication skills in Greek and English.
