Role

  • Research and book flights, transportation, and hotel accommodations for colleagues and business partners domestically and internationally and provide travelers with directions and destination information.
  • Assist event managers in organizing upcoming events for various groups by arranging hotel reservations, issuing airline tickets, arranging transfers and dinners.
  • Maintain and create profiles, data, reports, and KPIs in our travel tool and travel management files for reporting purposes
  • Monitor and facilitate the use of corporate air travel credit cards, frequent flyer programs, and other relevant rewards and loyalty programs.
  • Negotiate rates, travel deals and contracts with hotels globally
  • Maintain a good working relationship with travel service providers and vendors.
  • Work closely with card payment accounting department to ensure effective closing and reporting procedures
  • Assist in the implementation of new business travel procedures and projects, and ensure compliance with travel policies.

Requirements

  • At least three years of professional experience in the travel or business travel industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German is a plus
  • Experience with online booking systems and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers, colleagues, service providers
  •  Must be able to assume a high level of responsibility while fostering teamwork
