In line with our ever-growing needs, we are currently looking for an aspiring Network System Engineer looking to commission, maintain and operate our Network Infrastructure and ensure that it continues to meet ongoing business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure routers, switches, and other components.
• Provide support in the following areas: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security, internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure.
• Investigate, test, install and upgrade new hardware/software.
• Define specifications by analyzing workflows, access, information and security requirements in order to design system and network infrastructure.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments and participate in projects to meet business needs.

Your profile

• BSc/MSc Degree in Information Technology, Networking & Communication, or other relevant field
• 3 years of relevant experience in relevant engineering roles in enterprise environments
• Problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical and conceptual skills
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Experience in design/implementation/support of data networking, routing and switching, subnetting and network segmenting with large scale enterprise network
• Exposure in network technologies (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wireless, MPLS, SDWAN)
• Experience Microsoft Windows Server architecture and VMWare technologies (ESX, vCenter)
• Root cause analysis and troubleshooting for network and system issues/bottlenecks

It will be considered an asset if you have

• Experience working collaboratively with system administrators
• Network or Security Certifications
