Business Development & Technical Sales Specialist - Food Ingredients


We are currently looking for a Business Development & Technical Sales Specialist - Food Ingredients, based at our Athens Headquarters, to develop and grow the current product portfolio to existing and new customers.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

As our Business Development & Technical Sales Specialist, you will act as a commercial and technical partner for our Food customers. You will:

 

  • Be a member of the sales team and report directly to the management.
  • Manage a broad portfolio of food ingredients.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with industrial customers.
  • Identify and explore key customers in the territory and engage in all parts of sales cycle.
  • Support customers with application know-how, product positioning and technical problem-solving.
  • Keep an in-depth knowledge of the marketplace and the competition within the marketplace
  • Assist the service and support staff to deal with the payment collection and customer queries

 

WHAT IS NEEDED:

 

  • Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
  • 3- 5 years experience in B2B technical sales or in a food producer.
  • Commercial mindset combined with strong technical credibility.
  • Ability to engage confidently with R&D, production and procurement teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English; familiarity with CRM / ERP systems .
  • Driving license & willingness to travel within assigned territory.
