ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of a Greek dairy company with established market presence, is looking for a driven professional for the position of the Sales Analyst. This role is based in Athens.
Sales Analyst (6001/SA/ESS/GR)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Analyst to join our client’s team and analyze sales data in organized trade, prepare reports, support forecasting and drive company’s growth. This role reports directly to Sales Manager Organized Trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities, trends and patterns that can improve sales performance
- Design and maintain reports, dashboards and presentations for key KPIs and provide updates to sales and management team
- Maintain and improve files related to the daily monitoring of sales performance indicators
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, analyze market shares and customer needs to provide recommendations for optimization and relevant strategic directions
- Develop accurate, data-driven sales forecasting files to guide strategic planning and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing and Production) to align and coordinate departments with broader business goals
Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in the food and beverages or FMCG industry
- BSc in Business, Marketing, Economics or Finance
- Excellent knowledge of MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and hands-on experience with data analysis tools
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Excellent communication skills with great follow-up and organizational abilities
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability in a dynamic environment
