The Role
As a SME Business Development Consultant at INTELIQUA, you will act as a trusted partner for small and medium-sized enterprises. Your role will be to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and help them achieve sustainable growth through customer loyalty and data-driven strategies.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships, listening actively, and working consultatively with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand Client Needs: Work closely with SME clients to explore their business goals and challenges, and identify how INTELIQUA’s solutions can add real value.
- Advisory Sales Approach: Guide clients through tailored recommendations rather than one-size-fits-all selling.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based partnerships with decision-makers.
- Client Engagement: Conduct meetings (online and in-person) to present ideas and co-create solutions.
- Pipeline Development: Engage in structured prospecting while focusing on quality over quantity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to share insights, support clients, and contribute to collective success.
- Growth Contribution: Meet individual and team targets through consistent, client-centric engagement.
- This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Previous experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably with SMEs.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to build trust, handle multiple stakeholders, and work independently.
- A consultative mindset with genuine interest in client success.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
