Thrace Nonwovens & Geosynthetics (Thrace NG), member of Thrace Group, is seeking to fill the position of:

Quality Control Supervisor

The job holder will be based in Xanthi.

 Main responsibilities:

• Product inspections qualifications, certifications
• Prepare samples from the production
• Development and implementation of the company's quality management system.
• Internal quality inspections/audits
• Follow up and management of customer complaints
• Compilation of quality reports and documents related to the operation of the laboratory.
• Responsible for the proper operation of the laboratory equipment (maintenance coordination, calibrations, etc.).
• Execution of special measurements for New Product Development and Technical Support.
• Shift management.
• Training of staff on QC issues, control methods and new QC processes / procedures.

Requirements:

• Degree level education in a technical discipline e.g. Material Science, Chemistry, Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering etc
• Previous experience in a production or lab. environment or a QC department would be an asset.
• Knowledge of ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001) would be an asset
• Knowledge of statistics
• English language skills (written and spoken) are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills able to communicate effectively to all levels.
• Strong organisational skills – pays close attention to detail/quality – works in a logical, systematic manner – ensure issues are followed to completion.
• Very good IT skills, excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Initiative, can-do attitude, team working ,willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication, cooperation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on results.
• Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
