The UNISON Group, in the framework of its strategic expansion, is looking to include a Technical Buyer to its constantly growing team.

 

Location: Kallithea Head Office

Reports to: Procurement Manager

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and executing technical purchases and services
  • Development and management of strategic technical partners pool
  • Monitor pricing catalogues of strategic vendors and ensure rebates
  • Conduct market research for new products and equipment
  • Manage and receive offers for various RFPs and daily requests
  • Manage and monitor assets pool
  • Support remaining functions of Procurement Department, as necessary (fleet management, purchase orders, implementation of new systems etc)
  • Design and monitor reports and KPIs
  • Provide support to all corporate departments with regards to procurement matters

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (AEI/TEI) preferably with mechanical background
  • Master's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, is desirable
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in organized Procurement Department, preferably in multinational companies. 
  • Knowledge and experience in sourcing, negotiating, contract management, invoicing procedures, order management
  • Experience with mechanical/technical equipment
  • Experience in subcontractor management
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques and general supply chain procedures
  • Knowledge of procurement ERP systems
  • Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
  • Excellent PC Skills with proven proficient use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
