About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Social Media Editor product and editorial team of TO VIMA, covering tovima.gr and tovima.com, as well as the lifestyle brands of More Media — Grace, Argiro, Ελληνική Κουζίνα and ΔΙΑΚΟΠΕΣ. In this role, you will be responsible for translating breaking news, in-depth reporting, and premium editorial content into compelling social media narratives. You will work closely with journalists and editors to ensure our stories reach and engage audiences across all major platforms.

Main Responsibilities:
- Editing and adapting news stories, features, and editorial content from TO VIMA and More Media brands for social media distribution.
- Developing platform-specific storytelling formats to bring journalism — from breaking news to long-form investigations — to life on social media.
- Managing and scheduling daily posts across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Engaging with audiences in real time around news events, moderating community interactions, and reporting on audience response to editorial teams.
- Tracking content performance and translating data insights into editorial recommendations that improve reach and reader engagement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media editing or digital journalism (at least 2–3 years), preferably within a news organisation or editorial environment.
- Strong skills in creating digital content (text, video, and basic graphics).
- Excellent creative writing and copywriting skills in English and Greek.
- In-depth understanding of social media algorithms and digital trends.
- Strong editorial judgement and ability to identify which stories deserve social media attention and how to frame them for different platforms and audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
