GREEN, member of Vasileiadis Group of Companies, is growing rapidly and we are seeking for a passionate and hands on RES Specialist to join our team and implement various projects for our energy sector. The successful candidate will be involved in wind and solar PV projects in many tasks to support renewable energy development projects including design and construction supervision, monitoring of plants and administration. The role is full-time and permanent, based in Piraeus.

RES Specialist
Responsibilities
- Support the project team/s in the design, development, implementation, management, and monitoring of Renewable Energy Systems, as needed.
- Provide technical and operational support to ongoing projects. Cooperate and supervise external contractors on sites.
- Review contract technical requirements during EPC and O&M and ensure compliance.
- Support component evaluation, specification and selection during Construction and O&M period.
- On-site verification of installation & testing in accordance with design, standards and codes.
- Undertake field visits and surveys, collect, and share reports with partners/stakeholders
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on energy projects when needed.
- Prepare technical and performance reports ensuring accuracy, timelines, and relevance of information.
- Keep record of reports and assessments for easy reference.
- Assist in the development/establishment of off-grid energy solutions.
- Prepare required documentations/materials to facilitate review and approval processes.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues and partners to collect/analyze/ share information on implementation issues, suggest solutions on routine implementation of relevant projects and alert appropriate officials and stakeholders for higher-level interventions and/or decision.
- Report on issues identified to enable timely resolution by management/ stakeholders.
- Report critical issues, bottlenecks, and potential problems to supervisor, for timely action.
Requirements and skills
- A university degree (M./Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from a reputable University is required.
- At least 3 years in design, project management and technical experience in development, implementation, and procurement of solar systems is required.
- Strong communication, coordination and organizational skills required.
- Willingness to travel regularly is required.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language is required.
- Ability to work under pressure and work with culturally diverse team of local and international members.
- Very Good Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, PVSyst.
