About the new job
There is currently a job opening “Crew Scheduler”, in the Long-Term Planning Department. As a Crew Scheduler, you will be responsible to schedule rosters of flight crew. Specifically, you will monitor the smooth coverage of flight crews by creating and assigning crew’s routes. You are a perfect match if you are eager to work in a fast-paced environment, to optimize the manpower and ensure safe and efficient schedules.
What you will do:
- Flight crews’ coverage for the next 1-month period according to Flight Time Limitation and Flight Operations Division’s KPIs
- Assign Line Training to the crew, based on specific requirements and requests
- Update our main software tool (AIMS) in relation with qualifications of our crews and implementation of government/company policies
- Inform AIMS based on various requests of the fleet and of all departments (office duties, seminars, participation in events, company representations)
- Plan and assign days off, Stand by’s and annual leave days taking into consideration crew requests (flights, days off) on non-published roster
You fit, if you cover the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree specialization in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics is considered an asset
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Knowledge of MS Office
And you have competence in:
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Multitasking, organizing and paying attention to detail
- Flexibility, adaptability and time management
- Communicating effectively in a structured manner
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Demonstrating positive attitude with a customer-oriented approach
