Costa Navarino is looking for a Bakery Commis Chef de Partie. The selected candidate will follow the instructions of bakery chef de Partie and maintain brand standards and ensure safe usage of all kitchen equipment, showing knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, material storage with HAACP. They will prepare and bake different bread types under the supervision of the supervisor while maintaining adequate supply and ensures proper storage and refrigeration.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proper and safe usage of all kitchen equipment
- Have knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
- Respond appropriately to guests’ needs during the hours of operation
- Prepare, produce, and bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes, multigrain breads, sourdough, brioche, etc. under the supervision of the supervisor
- Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures proper storage and refrigeration
- Fill The daily HACCP documents with temperatures
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Hotels and bakery shop(experience in an international 5* hotel chain will be considered as an advantage)
- Baker's Certificate /degree
- Ability to speak, write and converse freely in Greek and in English
- High energy, ability to work under pressure
- Good hygiene knowledge and HACCP Standards
- Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills
