As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the housekeeping department. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be key in coordinating room assignments, managing inventories, and assisting with the daily scheduling of housekeeping staff. You will serve as the communication bridge between various departments, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are upheld at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate room assignments and schedules for housekeeping team members, ensuring efficient coverage and timely cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest room status, communicating deficiencies and updates to the housekeeping and front office teams.
  • Assist in managing the inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring they are adequately stocked and ordered as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries related to housekeeping in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Assist in training newly hired housekeeping team members on operational procedures and safety standards.
  • Compile and maintain daily housekeeping reports and logs, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Collaborate closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery for guests.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and basic computer applications.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
