Responsibilities
- Take charge of the baking section, preparing and baking a range of breads, pastries, and other baked delights to the highest standard.
- Ensure the quality, flavor, and presentation of all baked goods meet Canaves Collection's exceptional standards.
- Assist in creating new recipes and flavor combinations that will wow our guests.
- Maintain an organized and clean baking station, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering baking supplies to ensure a seamless operation.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and passion for baking.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker or Chef de Partie in a pastry or baking section, preferably within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and best practices.
- Creativity and a genuine passion for crafting delicious and beautiful baked products.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively under pressure.
- Team player with exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification in baking and pastry arts is highly desirable.
