We are looking for a well-organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Care team, in Piraeus office. As a Customer Service Officer, you will help uphold our service standards and support the efficiency of our shipping activities.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Handle and coordinate customer queries related to shipments
- Monitor shipment progress, customer status, and delivery tracking
- Promote relevant products or services during customer interactions
- Contact customers and manage/coordinate system modifications when needed (vessel delays, call omits, roll over, cut & run, late VGM etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure issue resolution and excellent service
- Promote digital experience and educate customers to fully move to digital journey
- Collaborating with other departments and manage communication between Different Teams (Agency, Head-Office, Customers etc.)
Requirements & Qualifications:
- University degree in Maritime, Business Administration or a related field
- Up to 5 years of experience in a similar role within the shipping industry
- Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A solutions-oriented, proactive team player
- Solid knowledge of geography (shipping-related)
