Role Overview

The role will be a core creative force within NaF+, responsible for developing, producing, and delivering original film and video content that aligns with the agency’s creative vision. This role requires a hands-on storyteller with strong technical filmmaking skills, creative originality, and the ability to collaborate across departments to bring high-quality projects to life.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development

• Generate original concepts and story ideas for films, branded content, and documentaries.
• Collaborate with the Originals team and wider NaF+ creative leads to pitch and shape new projects.
• Conduct research, treatments, and storyboarding to develop narratives that resonate with target audiences.

Production

• Direct and shoot high-quality video content across a range of formats (short-form, long-form, branded, digital, documentary).
• Manage pre-production activities, including casting, location scouting, scheduling, and crew coordination.
• Operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment as required to ensure creative and technical excellence.

Post-Production

• Oversee editing, grading, and sound design processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
• Collaborate closely with editors, motion designers, and other post-production specialists.
• Maintain consistency in visual style and storytelling across Originals content.

Collaboration & Culture

• Work closely with producers, writers, and cross-functional teams to align creative output with client and agency objectives.
• Mentor junior creatives and contribute to a collaborative, inspiring team culture.
• Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and storytelling techniques to keep NaF+ Originals at the cutting edge.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Cinematographer, Director, or Content Creator in film, television, or branded content.
• Strong portfolio showcasing originality, creativity, and technical expertise.
• Hands-on experience in camera operation, directing talent, lighting, and sound recording.
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
• Excellent storytelling ability with a sharp eye for visuals and pacing.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a creative team.
