Your ‘day to day’

  • Define and manage factory training strategies and activities, to enhance Operations performance by developing competencies and technical expertise of employees in compliance with internal, external and QMS requirements.
  • Lead the team of Technical Trainers.
  • Ensure daily support of production and technical services, by focusing the technical trainers on issues and gaps, related to lack of knowledge, process understanding and improvement, in-depth technical analysis.
  • Lead Education and Training Pillar, a cross-functional team under the Continuous Improvement Program, with the scope to develop systems and capabilities within the organization, to accelerate business results.
  • Design and Implement Continuous Improvement training path and Initiatives to provide the Organization with the right level of knowledge to improve and sustain Factory performances.
  • Ensure adequate staffed capacity according to Manufacturing scale-up plans. Ensure hiring plan, assessment, reporting and training strategy is in place to meet factory requirements in the short and long term.
  • Manage the development, preparation and delivery of technical training programs and their adaptation to the new technologies to ensure that production needs are met in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Define and propose the departmental yearly budget and keep close control on all expenses.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the maintenance process and activities to ensure the production plan is carried out in accordance with set objectives and measurements. Identify and implement mid/long term Maintenance and asset management strategies.

 

Who we’re looking for

 

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical disciplines).
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing industry, ideally in production, technical services, or engineering, of which at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Ideally in FMCG, Pharmaceutical or similar industry.
  • Required to have strong technical understanding.
  • Candidate with demonstrated leadership skills over a technical or production teams.
  • Demonstrated active involvement in TPM/Lean or similar systems and leading a Pillar team is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to deliver through others holding people engaged and accountable.
  • Ability and willingness to take ownership and responsibility for organizational practices and processes and their continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in both English and Greek (written and oral).
