In this role, you will support the Marine & Ports organization and its customers during the proposal & order handling process. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing offer descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation and ensuring the process is completed from end-to-end.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Preparing offers, orders and managing administrative procedures of sales processes (offer tools, invoices, cost calculation, offer proposals etc.) based on ABB’s guidelines.
- Communicating with the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
- Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
- Coordinating and planning the provision of necessary resources, spare parts and logistics.
- Ensuring that all parties fulfill all contractual obligations and business requirements.
- Managing all required reporting and documentation and overseeing the timely registration of necessary data in the system.
- Coordinating a seamless Spare Parts & Operations order process from quotation to invoicing.
- Collaborating with other ABB units and teams globally to harmonize activities.
- Building sustainable customer relationships to ensure local client growth, satisfaction, and retention
Qualifications for the role
- University Degree (Engineering or other field related to Marine Industry degree is a plus)
- 2-4 years of experience in customer support ideally in marine/shipping section is a plus
- Excellent command of Greek & English Language
- Strong Computer literacy (e.g. MS excel, Outlook, SAP)
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, fast-working approach.
