What we are looking for
As a Base Manager at Kiriacoulis Yachting in Athens, your main mission will be to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of our charter base. You will coordinate daily activities, manage yacht preparation and turnaround, support our clients throughout their charter experience, and ensure that all operational and technical standards are consistently met. You will work closely with our Operations, Marketing, Technical, and Accounting teams to deliver a seamless and high-quality service.
The role reports to the Base Supervisor.

What You Will Work On
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the base, including yacht preparation, departures/arrivals, and customer service.
- Oversee the full customer service cycle (check-in, check-out, briefings).
- Ensure that service quality consistently meets company standards.
- Supervise base staff and coordinate external technicians and contractors.
- Foster a positive and productive working environment within the team.
- Supervise the technical maintenance of the yachts and support refit planning.
- Respond to urgent and unexpected technical issues during the high season.
- Maintain up-to-date operational records for all yachts.
- Monitor and renew safety equipment and onboard inventories.
- Conduct quality control checks of cleaning and yacht preparation before guest handover.
- Ensure that yachts remain in excellent condition throughout the season.
- Collaborate closely with other departments (Operations, Sales, Marketing, Accounting).
- Monitor stock levels and manage spare-part orders in cooperation with the Procurement Department.
- Support documentation of detected technical issues and corresponding repairs.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to identifying best practices and proposing operational improvements.
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within the yacht-charter industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in yacht maintenance.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage high-pressure situations.
- Holder of a sailing license and a driving license (mandatory).
- Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional languages is a strong asset.
