Biotech Analyst
Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Schimatari, Greece (free company bus provided from Athens)

The Role:
We’re seeking a driven and analytical Biotech Analyst to join our growing team in Schimatari, Greece.
Your role will include:
- Performing a wide variety of tests (electrophoresis, IES, immunoblotting, RP/SE/CEX HPLC), in accordance to GMP requirements and SOPs
- Completing analysis accurately on any pharmaceutical product, in-process material, raw material or stability sample
- Collecting, calculating and recording analysis of data
- Promptly report any deviations or out of specifications result and assist where required with investigations
- Preparing reagents/solutions whilst complying with good laboratory practices
- Acting as an active member of the team and be part of the laboratory by participating in daily operations such as waste management, sterilization, glassware washing, media and consumable receipt etc.
- Drafting SOPs or other protocols and reports according to the laboratory needs
- Following and complying to all good practices (GMP, GDP), to the Quality Management System, regulatory requirements, internal processes and procedures, company guidelines, the corporate governance code, the Health Safety and Environment (EHS) procedures and good practices and all company policies and regulations, and actively contributes to their improvement.
- Undertaking any other project or responsibility that is assigned by the company, within the broader scope of the position’s responsibilities.
The Person:
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology (and biochemistry techniques (electrophoresis, IES, immunoblotting). Analytical techniques (RP/SE/CEX HPLC) would be considered an asset.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in Greek & English
- Knowledge of MS office apps
- Bachelor Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or relevant field with post graduate studies (MSc) in Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry
- Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Industry or relevant field will be considered as an asset
- Cell culture experience will be considered as an asset
