Marketing Assistant – Graphic Designer

Job Description 

Our company is looking to hire a Marketing Assistant with specialization in Graphic Designing, who will be working with our marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with creating marketing materials such as our annual product catalogue, other catalogues and leaflets and illustrating designs for marketing purposes. You will be creating graphic content and assets for our marketing campaigns, website, social media, which may include: designing banners, setting up email newsletters etc.

To be chosen for this role, you must have a degree in Graphic Design or a related field. Prior work experience in graphic designing or marketing is a plus.

Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Designing compelling printed marketing materials (product catalogues, flyers, posters, banners etc)
• Designing content for social media accounts
• Creating fresh eMail Marketing campaigns
• Creating artwork for events and trade shows
• Collaborating with the marketing team for new ideas
• Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
• Learning and working with various types of software
• Understanding company product and brand
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and tools

Marketing Assistant Requirements:

• Degree in Graphic Design or similar background
• Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat pro
• 3-5 years minimum working experience - Portfolio with design projects is mandatory
• Marketing assistant experience
• A high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Good organization skills
• Related job and internship experience
• Private means of transport is mandatory due to location
