Bright Group is looking for an experienced Head of Media to build and guide a high-performing media function aligned with our creative and business goals.

 

What you need to know about the position:

We’re looking for a self-motivated, forward-thinking Head of Media to launch and lead our brand-new media agency unit. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a hands-on approach, business and client thinking, who knows how to combine media strategy.  The ideal candidate is service-oriented, with a deep passion for connecting business outcomes with media performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the strategic and business plan of the new Media Unit (corporate website and brand positioning, service catalog, media product offering and go-to-market strategy).
  • Define and communicate the agency’s media philosophy and strategic approach.
  • Manage client relationships and act as a strategic advisor on all media-related matters.
  • Build a high-performing team of media professionals as the unit grows
  • Develop client-centric media strategies across channels
  • Oversee media budget planning and optimization
  • Maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration or related field.
  • A master’s
  • degree is a strong plus
  • Minimum 6 -7 years of proven experience in media planning, buying, or strategy — preferably in agency settings or fast-paced brand environments.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong commercial acumen, with hands-on experience managing media budgets and P&L responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently
  • Deep understanding of both traditional and digital media ecosystems, along with emerging trends and technologies

  • Collaborative spirit with the ability to inspire and eventually lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
