Introduction about the Organization

Elval is the aluminium rolling division of ElvalHalcor S.A. Elval offers reliable, innovative and competitive solutions that meet the most demanding requirements of global customers. With years of experience in aluminium rolling division, it is one of the most important aluminium industries in the European and international markets.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensures Health and Safety processes are in line with Elval’s policies and procedures
• Initiates optimal haulage strategies (GPS Tracking, best routes, optimal timings)
• Handles the storage and the internal transfer of the raw materials, under customs regulations
• Investigates best practices on raw materials Logistics (Software, SAP etc)
• Suggests new recommendations on yards availability to achieve Elval’s continuously increasing demand
• Responsible to set the technical specifications for the procurement of heavy load transport equipment
• Budgeting and cost reporting to the upper management for the internal haulage work. (inhouse and outsourcing)
• Manages department team,providing guidance, and effectively leading the team to achieve operational goals

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in the field of Engineering
• Proven work experience in planning and monitoring of internal transports and haulage or equivalent role, will be considered as a plus
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Understanding of inventory control
• Excellent problem solving and project management skills
