Our client, a well established law firm, seeks to recruit a Senior Corporate and Contracts Lawyer.

Main responsibilities

• Drafts and negotiates of various legal documents with a focus on corporate and business law (international commercial contracts, corporate documents, etc.)
• Participates in creating and reviewing contracting activity support tools (contracting policies, playbooks, instructions etc.) under the guidance of the team
• Legal support and advice in the area of corporate and commercial law including compliance for pharma and other corporate clients
• Actively participates and contributes to meetings with clients and in negotiations

• Bachelor’s degree in law
• Master’s degree in Law will be an asset
• At least 5-10 years of experience in the business law field (including experience in drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements) in a law firm or as an in house counsel, preferably in the international business in related fields
• Highly proficient spoken and written Italian with prior professional experience will be an asset
• Professional handling of an additional language would be a significant plus (Spanish; German; Portuguese; French etc.)
• Experience in supporting business projects from a legal side or in the implementation of best business contracting practices
• Excellent command of the English language; strong written and verbal skills
• Experience in litigation practices will be a strong plus in corporate law
• Excellent organization skills: ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting demands
• Attention to detail, punctuality.
• Ability to build relationships with key clients, co workers and business partners
• Collaborative and consultative team player who possesses an ability to workwell both independently and in a team environment including with senior management
• Ability to work comfortably in an intense, fast paced environment and successfully manage and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment
