Job Description

A day in the life of a Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be part of a growing team composed of our Cloud Architects, Engineers and Analysts working on multiple Cloud Environments. You will focus on developing solutions leveraging cloud-based platforms and associated technologies.

Your main duties will be to:

• Manage Information Technology cloud services provided to our clients
• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug cloud-based software programs based on business needs and requirements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the services provided, with a strong focus on quality
• Work across the complete cloud stack: Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
• Analyze new and existing public cloud services and create solutions that meet client requirements and standards
• Help our clients modernize their architecture and core technologies
• Own the end-to-end delivery of solutions and release Infrastructure as Code
• Manage incidents, requests, and changes, related to all the Information Technology services
• Work closely with clients and third parties on infrastructure-related planning and operation

Qualifications

If you have

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of ICT
• At least 2 years of experience in the field of Cloud
• Working knowledge of Cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Oracle Cloud (OCI).
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills

It would also be a plus if you had

• Ability to solve complex technical problems and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision 
• Familiar with containers (Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker etc.)
• Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (bash, Powershell, Python)
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting services and capabilities
• Excellent communication skills verbal & written in English.
