Job Description

A day in the life of a Automation Testing Team Leader

As an Automation Testing Team Leader, you will join our company’s Test Center, or one of our SW Product Development Teams. You will work with a number of experienced Test Automation Engineers and QA analysts, in an agile model, in various challenging projects.

Your everyday life will mainly consist of working in a high-performing Test Automation team developing products such as Icarus (Revenue Collection and Tax compliance) and Eskort (Risk and Compliance Management) and you will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of technologies and methodologies.

Your main duties will be to :

• Contribute to the distribution of all Quality Assurance practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics.
• Translate business requirements and specifications into test solutions that ensure the highest quality of the deliverables.
• Analyze, design, plan and execute strategies for all unit, process, function, integration, and acceptance testing for covering all software lifecycle phases.
• Design automation test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures
• Perform automation test execution; mentor, direct and monitor other testers in automation principles
• Partner with project management to identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated testing methodologies.
• Coordinate the document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards
• Collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools and communicating to key stakeholders on a regular basis.

Qualifications

If you have :

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 7 years of proven experience in designing, planning and execution of software testing strategies for QA
• Sound knowledge of software development lifecycle for enterprise scale projects with Agile methodologies or Test-Driven Development and continuous integration processes
• Hand-on experience in:
  • Issue & Project tracking tools (Jira and Atlassian product stack)
  • Automation Testing tools (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber & Soap UI) and Defect Tracking Tools (Bugzilla)
• Knowledge in Java and/or .NET
• Experience of SQL, XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST
