About the role
DGroup is strengthening its internal Technology Unit and is seeking a QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer to support the quality assurance of new digital products, internal platforms, and business-critical applications.
This role is suited to a strong mid-level to senior QA professional who can operate effectively in an environment where, especially in the early stages, manual testing will be significant, while at the same time test automation is considered essential.
The person joining this role will not simply execute tests. They will be expected to help create structure, improve QA discipline, and gradually build, maintain, and own the test suite in collaboration with the engineering team.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and business flows from a QA perspective
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
- Execute manual tests across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end flows
- Perform API testing and validate business logic across systems
- Record, classify, and track defects with clarity and discipline
- Work closely with developers and product/business stakeholders to resolve issues
- Support release validation and user acceptance testing where needed
- Take ownership of the QA test suite and contribute to its continuous improvement
- Gradually expand automated test coverage in a practical and sustainable way
Required qualifications
- 4–7 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software testing
- Strong hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications and operational/business workflows
- Practical hands-on experience in test automation
- Experience with at least one automation framework such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Ability to contribute directly to the design, maintenance, and expansion of automated test coverage
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
- Good understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, regression testing, and defect management
- Familiarity with Jira or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, and ownership mentality
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications
- Experience building or maintaining automated test suites from scratch
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with more than one automation tool/framework
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience in agile environments
- Experience testing integrated systems or transactional business processes
