Job Purpose: The Systems Integration Specialist is responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing all interfaces between Microsoft Dynamics and other enterprise systems.
Responsibilities/Results
The job holder:
- Monitors daily interface operations (APIs, middleware, file-based integrations) and resolves integration failures or data inconsistencies.
- Ensures accurate and timely execution of data transfers, scheduled jobs, and batch processes.
- Maintains interface documentation, mappings, and technical specifications.
- Configures and supports integration tools (Azure Integration Services, SSIS, ADF, API Management).
- Participates in developing new integrations or enhancing existing ones, including cloud migration initiatives.
- Serves as the primary contact for integration issues raised by business users and coordinates with vendors or external partners.
- Works with Dynamics, SAP, and Data/Reporting teams to maintain data consistency across systems.
- Ensures data integrity, documents transformation rules, and enforces integration standards.
- Contributes to incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Identifies automation opportunities and drives improvements in interface stability and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in systems integration and database management, with hands-on Azure experience.
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Azure and cloud integration services.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 interfaces and enterprise data flows.
- Knowledge of integration patterns (ETL, APIs, event-driven, file-based).
- Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, SSIS/ADF, or API Management.
- Good understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data mapping.
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, CSV, and flat file formats.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to handle critical incidents under pressure.
- Clear communication across teams, with high attention to detail.
