JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a hands-on Level 2 IT Support Engineer to actively troubleshoot, maintain and improve the company’s IT infrastructure and end-user environment. The role acts as an escalation point for Level 1 support, while also being directly involved in system administration, networking and infrastructure-related tasks.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as second level support and escalation point for complex IT incidents
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting on workstations, servers and network infrastructure
- Install, configure and maintain Windows systems and corporate applications
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts and access rights
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
- Configure, support and troubleshoot wired & wireless networks
- Perform hands-on support on enterprise networking equipment (Fortinet, Cisco)
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V)
- Participate in infrastructure changes, upgrades and migrations
- Analyze recurring incidents and implement long-term fixes
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Work closely with Level 1 Support, providing guidance and technical mentoring
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience in an IT Support Engineer / Level 2 role
- Very good knowledge of:
- Windows OS (desktop & server administration)
- Active Directory, Group Policy and access management
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Administration
- Practical experience with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex, real-world IT issues end-to-end
- Experience working in corporate IT environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Working Schedule: Shift-based role, Monday to Sunday, including evenings and late-night hours
Nice to Have (Plus)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco & Fortinet firewalls and switches
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V)
- Experience with monitoring, backup or security tools
Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware)
