Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and business-oriented IT professional who can bridge the gap between technology and banking operations. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support while also contributing to the functional and business aspects of IT projects.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders such as operations, retail banking, compliance, and risk departments.
Key Responsibilities

Provide daily technical support for users and core banking systems.

Participate in business requirement analysis and assist in translating functional needs into technical specifications.

Support IT projects, including system upgrades, digital banking initiatives, and process automation.

Collaborate with business units to understand workflows and propose improvements.

Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with internal policies and security standards.

Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues across multiple platforms.

Prepare documentation, reports, and user guides for implemented solutions.
Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3–5+ years of experience in an IT role within a bank or financial institution (preferred).

Strong understanding of banking processes, business workflows, and regulatory requirements.

Solid knowledge of IT systems, networks, databases, and application support.

Experience collaborating with non-technical teams to deliver business-driven solutions.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to business users.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of issues.

Strong analytical skills, initiative, and problem-solving mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Core Banking Systems (e.g., Flexcube, Temenos, Finacle, etc.)
