On behalf of our client, one of the Big Four companies based in Netherlands, we are looking for an AI Engineer to join our team and work remotely.

Role Summary
You will be actively involved in the implementation of high-impact client projects, contributing to the design, development and deployment of scalable AI‐driven solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new or existing AI/ML features and systems.
• Write clean, efficient, scalable code and model pipelines.
• Optimize performance and scalability of AI applications (inference latency, cost, throughput).
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of AI models and services.
• Perform code and model reviews, mentor junior team members/ML engineers.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, product teams and stakeholders to integrate AI into business solutions.
• Monitor model performance in production, identify drift, tune & retrain models.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer or working on AI/ML production systems.
• Solid experience with relational and non‐relational databases, data pipelines, ETL (given your data engineering background).
• Strong programming skills in Python (or other languages), experience with ML/AI libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience building and deploying ML/AI pipelines and/or working with cloud data/AI platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Azure OpenAI Service, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric is a strong plus).
• Familiarity with model deployment, monitoring, MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML, model versioning).
• Fluent in English (verbal & written).
• Fulfilled any required military obligations (if applicable).
