The Process Operations & Improvements role will design, plan, manage, improve, and direct the execution of the business processes. The role will partner with the Process Leads and other key stakeholders and vendors to manage process operations and ensure audit compliance. A key component of the role will be to drive process transformation in partnership with Digital and CTIES stakeholders.

The desired outcome will be simplified processes with methods in place for continuous analysis of process optimization, and identification of automation opportunities. This role required strong data analytical skills, along with a solid ability to understand and solve complex and unique problems using tried and tested techniques. An innovative mindset will be key to successful process transformation and to help drive identification, quantification, and proposal of process improvements.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop process measures and KPIs/metrics to measure process efficiency and success. This includes the design, develop and presentation of Process Dashboards
  • Support process transformation in partnership with process leads and stakeholders by identifying and implementing optimization opportunities using feedback, analytics, and metrics data to identify issues and improvement opportunities
  • Identify and implement process automation opportunities to reduce toil
  • Partner with the service management tools group to prioritize improvements, identify funding, and coordinate implementation activities (e.g., requirements, testing, etc.)
  • Provide governance for CTIES business and continuous improvement processes.
  • Supporting Audit process and response and maintain a state of continuous Audit readiness
  • Provide process support, education, and awareness to relevant teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, or relevant disciplines
  • 2+ years demonstrated ability and experience of Process Management and Improvement in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment
  • Key knowledge of ITIL Framework will be essential to the success of this role. ITIL Foundation or Practitioner Certification preferred.
  • Strong data literacy and analytical ability. Must be able to aggregate data from different sources with keen attention to detail, derive insights and communicate actionable information.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish relationships, influence outcomes, and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Experience in Agile ways of working (Scrum or Kanban)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LEAN Six Sigma certification and proven ability to use process improvement and problem-solving techniques (Kaizen, Six Sigma/Lean, Value Stream Mapping etc.)
  • Excel proficiency
  • Vendor governance and partnership experience
  • ServiceNow experience would be a plus
