Azure DevOps Engineer
Role: As an Azure DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for the design, implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
What you will do:
- Design, implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Deploy and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) through tools such as ARM Templates or Bicep
- Integrate DevOps tools into existing development processes, ensuring Continuous Delivery
- Implement and optimize monitoring through tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights
- Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Support DevSecOps processes, integrating security into pipelines
- Create and monitor KPI metrics to measure the performance and reliability of CI/CD processes
- Analyzing and troubleshooting systems to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
- Provide training and mentoring to the development team on the use of DevOps tools and practices
- Work with Product Owners and Development Teams to ensure smooth integration between teams
Required Qualifications:
- University or College Degree in Computer Science
- 3-5 years of DevOps Engineering experience, with at least 2 years in Azure DevOps
- Experience managing and automating systems in Azure Cloud
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and experience managing pipelines
- Knowledge of monitoring and tracking tools (e.g. e.g. Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills, collaboration and mentoring skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate
- Experience in security testing, performance optimization and DevSecOps practices
- Understanding and use of Kusto Query Language (KQL) to analyze data from insights or monitoring tools
- Previous experience in agile software development environments
- Experience with AWS DevOps services (CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudFormation, CDK)
