In this role, you will:
- Monitoring and resolving open production issues at the 2nd level within designated timeframes.
- Promptly initiating a "Problem" report when the root cause of an incident remains unidentified.
- Conducting advanced troubleshooting for production incidents and problems.
- Taking ownership of problem monitoring and tracking, with a focus on process improvement for recurring issues.
- Reproducing incidents and validating fixes through regression testing.
- Contributing to root cause analysis efforts to prevent future outages or quality issues.
- Flexibility is key as this position requires shift work and occasional international travel due to our global clientele.
Your profile should include:
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess 1-2 years of experience in Application Support, System Administration, SW-QA, or DEVOPS.
- Have solid system administration skills in Linux and Windows environments. Experience with cluster management is considered a plus.
- Be familiar with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, New Relic, or log analysis platforms like Kibana.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with Oracle or Mongo DB.
- Bonus points for experience in automation testing and scripting languages.
- Communicate effectively in both written and spoken Greek and English.
- Prioritize teamwork and value collective success over individual achievements.
