Position Overview
We are seeking a Charter Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Commercial Chartering Department that manages the bookings of a fl eet of 250+ yachts. This is a key operational position supporting the entire charter booking process from initial inquiry to check-out, while maintaining high service standards and contributing to both departmental and company wide KPIs. Department Context
The Commercial Chartering Department manages all charter bookings and serves as the main contact point for clients, agencies and yacht owners. Our team handles the complete booking lifecycle, maintains yacht information across multiple booking systems (such as MMK & NauSYS), and coordinates with bases to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Broker Relations
● Handle email and phone communications with customers and brokers
● Respond fast and professionally to all direct customer inquiries and agencies
● Process booking modifi cations including cancellations, amendments, and other changes
● Aim for high customer satisfaction for both direct clients and agency brokers
Documentation & Compliance
● Collect and verify crew lists from customers and/or brokers
● Ensure collection of skipper licenses from customers and/or brokers
● Process check-in documentation and properly inform relevant bases
● Handle digitization of contracts, standard inventory lists and note delivery forms
● Together with the rest of the team, maintain physical archiving of important documents & contracts
● Ensure prompt documentation for check-ins
System Management & Operations
● Maintain and update yacht information across multiple booking systems (Own system, MMK, NauSYS)
● Ensure boat calendars, prices, and discounts are accurate across all key systems
● Prevent double booking and keep inventory synchronized across platforms
● Coordinate yacht availability with owners and bases
Required Skills & Qualifi cations
Essential Requirements
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek
● Strong customer service orientation with professional phone and email etiquette
● Previous experience in yacht charter, travel, or hospitality industry
● Basic knowledge of Word and Excel and their G.suit equivalents
● Team spirit and player
● Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple booking systems simultaneously
● Ability to work under pressure and meet response time targets
Preferred Qualifi cations
● Familiarity with booking systems (MMK, NauSYS preferred)
● Knowledge of maritime documentation and compliance requirements
● Event representation and B2B networking experience
● Additional language skills German, French or Italian will be considered a plus
