Responsibilities
The candidate will provide pre-sales and product marketing for products and solutions in the IoT portfolio of INTRACOM TELECOM. The presales engineer will work in a challenging business environment, with local and international customers and business partners, constantly seeking to meet customers’ expectations and to demonstrate the competitive advantages against competing offerings.
He/she will be involved in the following activities:
- Respond to RFI/RFP/RFQs
- Follow technology trends and introduce new products and solutions accordingly
- Market Analysis (Market Research, Technology Assessment, and Competitive Analysis)
- Working with vendor partners to help drive business
- Promote products/solutions at exhibitions and conferences.
- Prepare Collateral & Sales Material
- Design solutions with the optimal combination of HW, SW and implementation services
- Conduct Presentations & Demos to customers
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Telecommunications
- At least 2 years work experience in a presales or product management role is essential
- Knowledge of IoT market and understanding of products & solutions
- Knowledge of IoT platforms & apps and Cloud hosted solutions
- Understanding device connectivity protocols and interfaces as well as device Security aspects
- Experience in data storage, management and exposure will be considered a strong asset
- Excellent speaking and writing fluency in Greek and English languages
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Availability for short travels abroad
Desired Skills
- Involvement in IoT projects
- Experience in Energy and/or Water management and/or Smart City and Environmental solutions
- Business related degree
