As a Maintenance Assistant will assist in keeping a smooth and efficient running of our operation in order to support our team working efficiently and effectively by following standard policies and procedures.

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Mykonos, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle destination. Featuring a sleek infinity-pool, lounge, restaurant and resident DJs, our vibrant seasonal location is a dynamic lifestyle concept that captures the essence of contemporary dining and entertainment making it the dining destination in Mykonos.

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in overseeing the overall maintenance onsite, regularly inspecting systems to ensure optimal functionality
• Efficiently assist in managing the onsite activities of third-party contractors & planning any required yearly maintenance
• Support with managing of maintenance supplies
• Ensure that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Be aware of restaurant and company standards, ensuring these are followed

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Assistant in a restaurant, hospitality venue, or similar fast-paced environment
• Basic technical skills (electrical, and general building maintenance knowledge)
• Flexibility within the role in supporting the team and business.
• Proactivity, hands-on attitude with the ability to work independently and strong organizational skills with basic computer knowledge (emails, maintenance logs, ordering supplies)
