Front Office Agent

What to expect
Employees in this position will be responsible for organizing, servicing and resolving customer issues with the aim of achieving high company standards.
Main responsibilities
- Customer care in accordance with Group standards
- Arrival and departure procedures
- Management of funds
- Communication with all departments to fulfil reception requirements.
- Rooming of guests and description of room features
- Invoice control and credit handling
- Complaint handling
Necessary qualifications & skills
- At least one year of work experience in a relevant position in a 4 or 5* hotel
- Excellent knowledge of the English language. Any additional language will be considered as an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Opera program or PMS reservation management program (desirable)
- Customer-orientated concept
- Communication and organizational skills and team spirit
- A degree from a tourism school is considered an additional qualification
- Basic knowledge of the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001 and 22000 management systems
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety
