As a Senior Door Host at Zuma you’ll be the first point of contact for all guests and play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming guest experience. This position oversees door operations, manages guest flow, and supports the reception team in coordinating walk-ins and reservations and providing excellent communication between guests and the hosting/reception team.
Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Mykonos, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle destination. Featuring a sleek infinity-pool, lounge, restaurant and resident DJs, our vibrant seasonal location is a dynamic lifestyle concept that captures the essence of contemporary dining and entertainment making it the dining destination in Mykonos.
Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee guest arrival flow and queue management to maintain an organized and efficient entry process.”
- Direct, organize, and communicate with walk-in customers, providing accurate wait times
- Coordinate with the reception team to support reservation management, seating decisions, and real-time updates on table availability.
- Oversee door operations by maintaining a professional presence, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring the entrance area is calm, welcoming, and well-organized.
- Act as a communication bridge between guests, hosts, and management to ensure exceptional guest service and quick problem resolution.
