The Role

As Timac Agro | LYDA’s Financial Controller you will be part of a growing finance team, reporting to the CFO and working closely with the local management team converting data into meaningful and valuable information that drives business decisions.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis

  • Ongoing analysis of the company’s financial performance and monitoring of performance KPIs
  • Active participation in budgeting and controlling processes, verifying results, and providing insights on key variances vs targets and prior periods
  • Preparation of standard and ad – hoc analyses & reports for the management team and the Group Finance department to facilitate business decisions and actions

2. Reporting

  • Preparation of monthly reporting pack for Group reporting purposes
  • Preparation of the local financial statements under Greek GAAP

3. Innovation & Process Improvement

  • Competent use of modern financial tools to analyse data and produce high-quality reports
  • Development of adequate reports for performance evaluation and monitoring per product / product family / region etc.
  • Initiation and implementation of enhanced processes to achieve efficiencies and optimisation of resources

Skills & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • A relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CA, ICAS, CPA, IESOEL) completed or at final stages represents a strong advantage
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a Finance / Reporting / Controlling department of a multinational commercial company, or within an audit firm (preferably Big 4)
  • Ability to comprehend financial data and be able to present them using detailed reports and charts
  • Experience with Power BI represents a strong advantage
  • Positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities, open mind towards new challenges and changes, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing
