PeopleCert is looking for an Investment Banking Analyst / Corporate Development who will join the Corporate Development Division. As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting PeopleCert's Corporate Development strategy, identifying and evaluating M&A opportunities, and supporting the execution of M&A transactions. PeopleCert is the first Greek Unicorn with a strong M&A strategy to support the goal of growing 40% YoY.

As an Investment Banking Analyst your tasks will be to support in:

  • Sourcing and assessing acquisition opportunities
  • Executing detailed strategic and financial analysis of opportunities (market and company analysis, strategic fit, value proposition)
  • Evaluating financial modelling and pro forma financial analysis of targets
  • Covering aspects of the Due Diligence process in business evaluations/decisions
  • Executing M&A and investor relations processes
  • Preparing investor and company presentations

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Transaction Services, Consulting or Private Equity
  • Proven experience in M&A and Due Diligence activities is a prerequisite
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification is desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus). Good knowledge of other languages, will be considered an asset
  • Excellent IT skills, ECDL Core/Expert certification will be considered an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities and advanced financial modelling skills
  • Team-playing approach and stakeholder management skills
  • Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
